At Pleasant Dentistry, your smile is in the hands of one of North Georgia’s most experienced and compassionate dentists. Dr. Stan Ryals has been practicing in Cumming for more than 30 years and is proud to carry on a legacy of care that began when the practice was founded in 1976.
Known for his gentle touch, advanced skill, and genuine relationships with patients, Dr. Ryals offers expertise across all areas of dentistry, including implants, cosmetic restorations, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and dentures. “I’ve always wanted people to look better when they walk out the door than when they came in,” says Dr. Ryals. “If you came in pain, you leave without it. That’s always been my goal.”

Dr. Stanley Ryals
For more than 40 years, Dr. Stan Ryals has been providing exceptional dental care to the Cumming, Georgia community. His long-standing dedication to excellence and patient comfort has earned him a reputation as a trusted and compassionate dentist for generations of families.
Dr. Ryals earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Throughout his career, he has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry — including preventive, restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, implant, and, most recently, facial esthetic treatments. This commitment to lifelong learning allows Dr. Ryals to deliver the highest level of care using the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology.
Outside the office, Dr. Ryals enjoys spending time outdoors — snow skiing, golfing, and hiking — and cherishes every opportunity to spend time with his family.
